Fitness and performance assessment in Miami Shores
The Primal Longevity Assessment™
Know more than your weight. The Primal Longevity Assessment™ combines InBody 580 body-composition analysis with coach-led measurements of strength, grip, balance, blood pressure and six-minute bike performance, giving you a practical baseline for training and long-term progress.
Talk With Us About the AssessmentThis is a fitness and wellness assessment. It is not medical care or a diagnostic examination.
Start with a measurable baseline
Stop guessing. Start with a measurable baseline.
A scale can tell you how much you weigh. It cannot tell you how much force you produce, how long you can balance on one leg, how your grip compares with your own future results, or how well you sustain a controlled period of cardiovascular work.
Primal Fit Miami created the Primal Longevity Assessment™ to bring those measurements together. Instead of reducing progress to one number, we establish a broader fitness baseline across body composition, strength and physical function.
The purpose is not to assign a grade to your health. It is to understand your current starting point, identify useful training priorities and create measurements that can be repeated under consistent conditions.
One coached experience
What does the Primal Longevity Assessment measure?
The assessment brings several complementary measurements into one coached experience:
- Body composition measured with the InBody 580
- A resting blood-pressure reading
- Grip strength
- Single-leg balance performance
- ISOPHIT isometric force production in selected positions
- Six-minute air-bike performance through the Primal 6™ Cardio Test

Each measurement answers a different question. Together, they provide a more useful view of current fitness and physical capacity than body weight alone.
Body composition
InBody 580 body-composition analysis
The InBody 580 uses multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance analysis to estimate body composition. The scan itself takes about 30 seconds and provides detailed information about muscle, fat and body-water distribution.
Depending on the selected result outputs, your report may include:
- Body-fat percentage and body-fat mass
- Skeletal muscle mass and lean body mass
- Segmental lean and fat analysis
- Visceral fat area
- Total, intracellular and extracellular body water
- Muscle and fat balance indicators
- The manufacturer-defined InBody Score

The InBody Score is a convenient summary of body-composition results. It should not be interpreted as a diagnosis or a complete score of overall health.
Body-composition values from bioelectrical impedance are estimates and can be affected by testing conditions. For more meaningful comparisons, repeat measurements should be completed under similar conditions and interpreted as trends rather than perfect measurements.
Beyond body composition
We measure how you function, not only how you look
Body composition matters, but it is only one part of fitness for longevity. Strength, balance and the ability to sustain work shape what you can do outside the gym. That is why the assessment includes practical performance measures alongside the InBody 580.

Blood-pressure reading
A properly collected resting blood-pressure reading provides a useful cardiovascular health snapshot. We record the reading as part of your baseline and encourage you to share questions or concerning results with your healthcare professional.
One reading does not diagnose high blood pressure, and this assessment does not replace regular medical care.
Grip-strength test
Grip strength is simple to measure and has been studied extensively as a marker associated with overall strength and physical function. We use objective grip testing to establish your result and create a number that can be compared with a future retest.
The goal is not to turn a handshake into a health prediction. It is to add one useful strength measure to the larger picture.
Single-leg balance test
The single-leg balance test measures how long you can maintain a defined position under a consistent protocol. It gives us a practical baseline for stability and body control.
Balance is influenced by many factors. This is not a diagnosis or a stand-alone prediction of fall risk; it is one fitness measure that can help inform coaching.
ISOPHIT strength assessment
The ISOPHIT system allows us to measure isometric force production while you press or pull against fixed resistance in selected positions. The result gives us objective strength benchmarks without relying only on how a workout felt.
Test it. Train it. Retest it. That is the value of a baseline: it gives future progress a clear point of comparison.
The Primal 6™ Cardio Test
The Primal 6™ Cardio Test is a six-minute assessment performed on an air-resistance bike. It measures your ability to perform and sustain work under a repeatable Primal Fit protocol.
The resulting performance score can be compared with future tests completed under the same protocol. It is not a VO2 max measurement or clinical cardiac stress test.
Your results
One assessment. A broader fitness snapshot.
At the end of the Primal Longevity Assessment™, you will have more than a body-fat percentage. You will have a set of coach-reviewed baselines across:
No single result defines your health or your future. The value comes from reviewing the measurements together, connecting them to your goals and repeating appropriate tests consistently over time.
A useful starting point
Who is the assessment for?
The Primal Longevity Assessment™ may be useful for adults who:
- Want a clearer fitness baseline before beginning a training plan
- Care about strength and physical function, not only body weight
- Want objective measurements they can revisit over time
- Are returning to exercise and want coaching informed by their current ability
- Are training for long-term capability in Miami Shores and the surrounding Miami communities
The appropriate tests depend on the individual. Tell the Primal Fit team about medical conditions, recent procedures, symptoms or exercise restrictions before beginning so they can determine whether the assessment or specific components are appropriate.
Adults 50+ who want the assessment to lead into a structured strength program can ask about Prime Strength 30™. If you would rather train one-on-one, results can also shape a personal training plan. You can compare every path on our training options page.
Know your numbers. Build from there.
The goal is not to chase a perfect score. It is to replace assumptions with useful information, build an intelligent training plan and create a baseline that makes future progress easier to understand.
If you want to learn whether the Primal Longevity Assessment™ is the right starting point for you, begin with a conversation. Primal Fit Miami will explain the assessment, discuss your goals and help you determine the right next step.
